We’ve pulled together a cracking line-up featuring Archie Kelly (Phoenix Nights), Smug Roberts, Jordan Mack, with Neil Jackson as compere.
Expect a full night of laughs in the intimate setting of Millgate Arts Centre — the perfect venue for live comedy.

Smug Roberts
Best known as a stand-up comedian, Smug Roberts offers laid-back, sharply drawn takes on everyday life, that feel more like a chat in the pub than a performance. He talks about who he is, where he’s from, what he thinks and how he reacts to the world around him and the odd conclusions he’s come to along the way. It’s comedy that ambles along, then catches you off guard with something delightfully silly or unexpectedly sharp. (MEN)

Jacko is a dynamic and charismatic stand-up comedian making waves on the UK comedy circuit. Dubbed “One to Watch”, he brings an effortless Northern charm, sharp wit, and confident swagger to the stage. Whether delivering razor-sharp one-liners or engaging storytelling, Jacko’s quick-thinking and natural stage presence ensure he connects effortlessly with audiences. Equally skilled as both a performer and an MC, he keeps the energy high and the laughs coming, making him a standout act for any comedy night.
Delph Matters and Delph Christmas Lights
Delph at Christmas is something special. Each year, a team of dedicated local volunteers transform the village into a festive showpiece, with lights that line the streets, wrap around buildings, and create a proper winter atmosphere that draws people in from across Saddleworth.
At the heart of it all is the much-loved Delph Elf — a handmade character that’s become a bit of a local legend, appearing in the run-up to the switch-on and capturing the imagination of kids and grown-ups alike.
All of this is made possible through the amazing efforts of the Delph Matters Committee, along with generous donations from local residents and some very special local businesses who continue to support the village year after year.
It’s more than just lights — it’s community, tradition, and that unmistakable feeling that Christmas has properly arrived in Delph.
