A vibrant chamber string quartet founded in 2023 by Jacob Wright and Kirin Howat, both students at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester, offering a captivating and dynamic musical experience. Their mission is to inspire and entertain audiences with exceptional performances. They perform classical and cross-genre repertoire. The ensemble made its debut with a grand string ensemble concert featuring over 30 young musicians. Recently, the ensemble has collaborated closely in a quartet setting with diverse players in an exceptional musical environment, working with renowned chamber coaches including Levon Chilingirian, Susie Mészáros, Robin Ireland and Leonard Elschenboich. The ensemble has given performances at various diverse venues including The Manchester Museum, The Carole Nash Recital Room, The RNCM Concert Hall, The Buxton Festival and even an abandoned warehouse at a fashion show. They will be playing works by the twentieth century composers Ernest Moeran and Erwin Schulhoff as well as compositions by Joseph Haydn and Bedřich Smetana.
