Hayfever

a comedy by Noel Coward

Saturday 17th -24th April 2027
Noel Coward’s sublime comedy of bad manners

It is the 1930s and a Noel Coward play, so it’s the jazz age, flappers, the Charleston, champagne, art deco and sophistication .

Novelist, David Bliss has plans for a quiet weekend but his overdramatic, retired actress wife Judith and their two precocious grown up children have ideas of their own. A houseful of drama results, as each of the four (unknown to the others) has invited a perfectly unsuitable guest and the ‘quiet weekend’ escalates to an exhausting and hilarious finale worthy of Feydeau
