Alex Clarke and the Tom Kincaid Jazz Trio
Wednesday 18th October 2023, 7.30pm
Alex and the Trio will be playing the great jazz standards with more than a hint of bebop with its roots in swing music following in the footsteps of Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and latterly Phil Woods and Cannonball Adderley possibly mixed with some of Alex’s own compositions. Expect fast tempos, off-the-beat rhythms, adventurous improvisation, complex harmonies and a focus on individual virtuosity.
