My name is Colin Watt and I was supposed to be the real stage manager, instructing Gordon in the backstage ways, and keeping him on the straight and narrow, those who know him will understand the many hours of heartache he has given me, I do hope he will not let the side down.
The rest of the cast and crew, all very experienced, and have worked very hard to put on a very well rehearsed show, with superb dancing and singing scenes and brilliant acting. The directing has been very well done and sets and props are all of a very high quality. Costumes have also been selected with care to give a real impression of what the Farndale ladies are capable of doing.
The show itself is of the highest quality with special effects and sound completing what can only be the perfect show. I will have to finish now as three men in white coats and a yellow van have come to take me back to the asylum.
Update: Unfortunately Colin has suffered a broken hip after a fall and is no longer able to carry on a Stage Manager. Saddleworth Players and all you pals at the Millgate wish you speedy recovery Colin!
